Kaseya Features Enitech’s Journey From Startup MSP to Industry Leader

Kaseya Feature on Enitech

Building a successful managed IT services company takes more than technology. It takes strong partnerships, a commitment to clients, an ability to adapt and, most importantly, a clear understanding of how technology can help businesses achieve better outcomes.

That journey was recently highlighted by Kaseya in a customer case study featuring Enitech and our Founder and President, Antwine Jackson.

The case study explores Enitech’s evolution from a one-person operation into a growing managed service provider serving organizations across North Carolina and throughout the United States. It also highlights how Enitech has expanded its capabilities in managed IT services, cybersecurity, business continuity and compliance while continuing to focus on delivering measurable value to clients.

Building Enitech From the Ground Up

When Antwine founded Enitech, the company looked very different from the organization it is today.

Enitech’s first managed services client generated just $1,000 per month in recurring revenue. In his interview with Kaseya, Antwine shared that Enitech has since grown to more than $250,000 in monthly recurring revenue.

That growth didn’t happen overnight.

As Enitech expanded, Antwine recognized that scaling the company required more than simply adding new technology. It meant building better processes, choosing the right technology partners and finding ways to give the Enitech team more time to focus on clients.

One of the lessons Antwine discussed with Kaseya was the importance of looking beyond the price of technology and considering the value created by efficiency.

For Enitech, that has meant building an integrated technology environment that helps technicians work more efficiently, improves reporting and gives the team better information when helping clients make technology decisions.

Technology Should Create Better Business Outcomes

One of the strongest themes from Antwine’s conversation with Kaseya is also central to how Enitech approaches managed IT services today: IT shouldn’t be measured simply by the number of tickets a provider closes.

It should be measured by the outcomes technology helps create.

Better uptime. Stronger security. More productive employees. Reliable access to critical systems. Greater visibility into technology investments. And a technology strategy that supports where the business is going next.

As Antwine explained during the interview:

“You’re going to see the shift from — it’s no longer about tickets, it’s about outcomes.”

That philosophy is reflected in Enitech’s approach to managed IT services. Instead of waiting for something to break, our team works proactively to manage technology, identify risks and help clients make strategic decisions about their IT environments.

Cybersecurity Became Part of the Business Conversation

Cybersecurity has also played an important role in Enitech’s evolution.

As cyber threats have changed, businesses have needed more than traditional antivirus software and basic IT support. Security increasingly requires continuous monitoring, endpoint protection, threat detection, employee education and a strategy for responding when something unusual happens.

In the Kaseya case study, Antwine shares an example involving an executive at one of Enitech’s clients who logged into email while traveling without notifying the Enitech team.

The activity was detected, and the team contacted the executive to verify that the login was legitimate.

Nothing malicious had happened and that’s precisely the point.

The client could see that someone was actively watching.

Antwine explained that moments like these demonstrate the difference between simply saying you’re proactive and showing clients that their technology and security are actually being monitored.

For businesses trusting an MSP with their systems and sensitive information, that visibility can make a significant difference.

Supporting Healthcare and Other Highly Regulated Organizations

The Kaseya feature also highlights Enitech’s work with healthcare and health-tech organizations, including helping clients navigate security and compliance requirements associated with frameworks such as SOC 2 and HITRUST.

Technology decisions in highly regulated industries can’t be made in isolation. Cybersecurity, compliance, data protection, business continuity and everyday IT operations increasingly overlap.

That’s why Enitech’s role often extends beyond traditional IT support.

As Antwine told Kaseya:

“You’re no longer that trusted advisor. You’re almost like that business consultant.”

It’s an important distinction.

Our goal isn’t simply to recommend technology. It’s to understand the organization, the risks it faces and the outcomes it needs from its technology then help build an IT strategy around those requirements.

Business Continuity Means Keeping the Business Running

Another area highlighted in Kaseya’s case study is Enitech’s approach to business continuity.

Backing up data is important, but a backup alone doesn’t answer the bigger question:

How will your organization continue operating if something goes wrong?

A cyberattack, server failure, natural disaster or other unexpected disruption can quickly become a business problem rather than an IT problem.

That’s why Enitech approaches business continuity from the perspective of keeping the organization operational.

As Antwine explained in the case study, conversations change when businesses stop thinking only about backups and start considering what would actually be required to keep their operations running during a disaster.

Enitech has also expanded its cybersecurity services to include security assessments and penetration testing, helping organizations identify vulnerabilities before attackers have an opportunity to exploit them.

The Right Technology Is Only Part of the Equation

Technology has changed considerably since Enitech was founded, and it will continue changing.

Automation and artificial intelligence are already transforming the way IT services are delivered. But Antwine emphasized an important point during his conversation with Kaseya: technology by itself isn’t the differentiator.

The value comes from how it is used.

As Antwine put it:

“It’s not just about the tool stack because tools are so commoditized. It’s about the value behind it and being able to show clients the value.”

That’s the philosophy that continues to guide Enitech.

We invest in technology, partnerships and processes that allow our team to deliver enterprise-level capabilities while remaining focused on the individual businesses we serve.

Continuing To Build What’s Next

Growing from a one-person operation into the Enitech of today has required plenty of change along the way. But one thing hasn’t changed: our focus on helping clients use technology to operate more securely, efficiently and confidently.

We’re grateful to Kaseya for sharing Antwine’s story and highlighting the work our team has done to build Enitech into the company it is today.

And we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.
